This afternoon, year 4 explored what human and physical features were within geography. The children learnt about what each term meant and what examples they could think of – e.g. rivers, coastlines, beaches, cliffs or houses, schools, offices, roads. Their challenge was to apply this when creating their own settlement. They had to incorporate a variety of different human and physical features and further explain their purpose for choosing it. The children were able to use a range of different materials in order to do this. They loved it!
